Kamal Haasan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is scheduled to hit screens by second week of December. With the most successful team of Kollywood coming together, it’s obvious that the film will surely create sensation amongst the fans. Some of the closer sources have revealed the film’s outline as the story goes this way….
The film revolves around Gopal (Madhavan) is madly in love with an actress Ambujam (Trisha). But he is really worried whether she has any soft corner for him. To clear his doubts, he appoints a best detective in town (played by Kamal Haasan). Ambujam is now on a cruise for film’s shooting and the spy follows her up as on assignment and both get acquainted. Sooner, the spy’s love (Sangeetha) mistakes their relationship which resulted in unexpected confusions. Now it’s up to Gopal to clear up the problems that is followed by a happy ending.
Suriya will be playing a cameo role and it looks he may shake legs with Trisha for a song. ‘Kalavani’ fame Oviya, Ramesh Aravind, playback singer Usha Utap and few others will playing important roles in this romantic travelogue. Read more...

Superstars Big Tickets From September!

The first season of 2010 might not have been so promising for the film buffs, but you can expect a heavy downpour of big tickets from Superstars for the next half yearly period.

Enthiran: Rajnikanth’s magnum opus ‘Enthiran’ was supposedly reported to hit screens on September 3. Though it was an unconfirmed buzz, Sun Pictures COO Hansraj Saxena reafirms about releasing the film by first or second week of September. The film’s musical mania has exceeded everyone’s expectations and for the next coming days, it’s gonna be ‘Endhiran’ alone.

Manmadhan Ambu: Kamal Haasan’s yet another comedy entertainer with K.S. Ravikumar. The duo’s combination in ‘Avvai Shanmughi’, ‘Thenali’, ‘Pancha Thanthiram’ and ‘Dasavatharam’ have revealed of great success. The additional goldrush in film’s veins will be the presence of Madhavan and Trisha. The film is scheduled for Diwali as Udhayanidhi Stalin plans to do so.

Kaval Kadhal: Beginning of Vijay’s new era. Is it worth ennobling Ilayathalapathy’s next release ‘Kaval Kadhal’ with such terms? A right one indeed! Neither gushing punch dialogues nor the timeworn ingredients of his yesteryear films will be prevalent here. So, what you have got to expect is all about fun, romance and emotions. Mega fight between Kamal Haasan and Vijay’s

It’s going to be double celebrations for all the audiences of kollywood for this year Diwali.

On the other hand it is also to be a mega fight between Kamal Haasan and Vijay’s films.

Sources say that Kamal Haasan and Trisha starrer latest film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is in its final leg of its shooting and on the other side, Vijay and Asin starrer upcoming film ‘Kaaval Kadhal’ has already completed its shooting and gearing up to start its dubbing part soon.

So, both the films are going to have a big fire at the box office for this Diwali.

Sources also said that as the ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ combo has awed the audience with a biggest blockbuster like ‘Dasavatharam’ few years back and on the other side, Vijay will be coming with different looks and change in story line not like his previous films, much craze is going on among both the fans and kollywood town.

Devi Sri Prasad’s thinking new music for Kamal’s next Flim!

Already it was said that Kamal Haasan’s forthcoming flick ‘Yavarum Kelir’ was renamed as ‘Karunyam’ and it will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by KS Ravikumar.

Sources say that it is a triangular love story starring Kamal, Trisha and Madhavan with full length out and out comedy.

Now, the latest buzz is that top music director Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music for Kamal Haasan’s movie for the first time. Earlier, he gave background score for Kamal’s Dasavatharam. Manush Nandan will be introduced as a cameraman for the film. Read more...

Kamal Hassan and Madhavan get together again (Directed by K S Ravikumar)

Madhavan has always said that he’ll act in Tamil movies if he comes across a good script. Looks like he has finally found one intresting. The movie is with none other than Kamal Hassan for his next movie Yavarum Kaelir. This movie is directed by K S Ravikumar.

This is the second time that Kamal and Madhavan will be seen together in a film. They co-starred earlier in Anbe Sivam. Maddy’s Naan Aval Adhu is still awaiting release and his Hindi Movie Teen Patti has hit the screen this weekend.

Kamal Hassan’s daughter Shruthi will also be scoring the music for Kamal’s next movie Yaavarum Kelir with K S Ravikumar. Kamal Hassan in Marmayoghi start third week of February!

Marmayoghi is all set to start by the third week of February. The film which was initally produced under the banner of Bharath Bala will now be co-produced by none other than Walt Disney Productions.

Bharat who has earlier worked with AR Rahman in Vande Mataram has roped in the Mozart of Madras in this film. It will also see Kamal Hassan and AR Rahman coming together again.

Marma Yoghi is a historical story, set in the seventh century. The film is also said to become the most expensive film in India with the budget exceeding 120 crore. Rajinikanth’s Robot with a budget of more than 100 crore will be stiff competation for Marmayogi.

Marmayogi is the remake of 1951 MGR and Anjali Devi starrer movie with the same name. The story is based on the novel by Marie Corelli – Vendetta, A Story of One Forgotten.

Hema Malini has already been signed for the movie. The hunt for the other heroines(two more) is on. Buzz is that Asin is one of the heroines. Kamal has made a trip to Thailand to find out suitable locations for Marmayogi.

Shriya to pair with Kamal for Marmayogi?

Shriya is one actress who shot to fame after being paired with superstar Rajinikanth in Shivaji. She was even referred to as Shivaji girl after the sucess of the movie. Then on the actress went on to do a couple of Bollywood movies and also a Hollywood movie.

The latest buzz doing the round is that she has been approched for the next magnum opus by Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan. ”I went over to cloud nine when they approached me to act opposite Kamal sir in "Marmayogiâ". However, talks are still on and nothing has been finalized yet.’ Shriya Saran said when quizzed about this.

Shriya is currently busy with Kandasamy, Jaggubai and a Hollywood film ‘The other side of the line’ produced by Ashok Amritraj. She will need to find time for Marmayogi with her busy schedule but the actress is excited about working with Kamal and is ready to squeeze in time for Marmayogi.

Marmayogi will be launched in a very grand function to be held in Mumbai (tentatively) on July 25, 2008. Many big shots of Bollywood and Kollywood are expected to attend this grand function. Read more...
