Tamannaah says about Shankar’s 3 Idiots

From long time there is a buzz that veteran filmmaker Shankar will be directing the Tamil remake of Hindi block buster film ‘3 Idiots’. It was also confirmed that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be playing one of the lead roles in the film and Harris Jayaraj will compose the music.

Recently there was a buzz that milky beauty Tamannaah was approached to play the lead role in the film but she rejected the offer. On clearing all the airs, Tamannaah says “No, the reports are not true. I have not been offered the role so far. The Hindi original is a huge hit and I am hopeful that the Tamil version too will be equally big.”

Sources say that if Tamannaah is offered to play the role in the Tamil version, it is for the second time she would play the role played by Kareena Kapoor. For the first time it was in Kanden Kadhalai’, which was inspired by bollywood film ‘Jab We Met’. Read more...

Rajinikanth fans upsets at Enthiran music launch in Malaysia!

Several of the Superstar's fans are upset with him! Not because he has not joined politics as yet... that is an old and ongoing issue. This time, it is because of something that he said at the Enthiran (also known as Endhiran) music launch in Malaysia.

Enthiran, produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner and directed by Shankar, is one of the biggest and most awaited movies not just for Tamil audiences, but for movie enthusiasts all over India and even all over the world.

At the music launch, when Rajinikanth came on stage to talk about the movie and his experience working in it, he said the real stars of the movie are Kalanithi Maran, Shankar, A.R. Rahman and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

This humble comment has upset his fans who felt that their Thalaivar was underestimating his position as the Superstar.

We all know that Rajni has always been very humble; maybe his humility and sometimes over-humility has made his fans feel that he is letting them down.

What can we say, except that irrespective of what the Superstar says, it cannot be denied that Enthiran is such a huge film not because it is one of the most expensive movies in India or it will be have the widest release ever for an Indian film or it brings together some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.

Shankar Siddharth Back in 'Kuyil' - A simple love story but Mega budget

Shankar’s next project, after his magnum opus Endhiran, is already generating curiosity with hearsays doing rounds at the Kodambakkam coffee table discussions. Latest is that, this Siddharth starrer is a love story: in fact rumor has it that it could be the first script Shankar ever wrote during his initial days as Assistant Director in Tamil cinema, named Kuyil.

Endhiran Change 2D into 3D formats like 'Avatar'

With Sarath Kumar’s ‘Jaggubhai’ being leaked on pirated video even before its official release, the film personalities were blown out of waters and started dubbing and mixing is done very vigilantly.

Manirathnam has made his men guard the studio where the post production work of Raavana is going on. Rajni starrer Endhiran is a film produced on high budget. Shankar is very careful and is monitoring personally that this film should not be pirated. If this film is made in 3D technology, the film cannot be viewed in TV or monitor. The film can be seen only in the theatres. Hence Shankar has decided to release this film on 3D format in order to prevent piracy.

While speaking about this Shankar said,” I am thinking of making some portions of the film Endhiran in 3 D formats. Any 2D films can be converted into 3D formats. The technology has grown so much.. Some leading graphic companies in foreign countries are expert in this work. The people who are doing graphic works for Endhiran had showed me the demo of 3 D format. It is so fantastic.
