Lingusamy says still i am fan of Nayanthara

Director Lingusamy is very much delighted over the release of his much anticipated flick ‘Paiyaa’ today. The film features Tamannaah opposite Karthi in the lead.

Earlier reports say that Nayanthara was signed up to play a lead role opposite Karthi in the film but due to certain reasons she was replaced by Tamannaah later.

In a recent interview to a national daily, director Lingusamy recalls the previous issue and says that it all happened due to communication gap between the production house and Nayanthara. He further quotes “Things may not have worked out, but I’m still her fan.”

He also added that as he needs an actress who could perform well all through the movie, he had roped Tamannaah for ‘Paiyaa’.
