Latest news is that the film director Venkat Prabhu after conferring with a foremost numerologist has decided to change the spelling of the film from ‘Mangatha’ to ‘Mankatha’.
The film is said to be a bilingual mega multi project to be made both in Tamil and Telugu. The film casts Ajith, Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, Manoj Manchu, Ganesh Venkatraman, Premgi Amaran and newcomer Maahat in the main roles.
Though Lakshmi Rai is confirmed to be part of the film, the heroine of the film is yet to be finalized. Yuvan Shankar Raja is going to compose tunes which will kick start from September.
Director Venkat Prabhu said “The film will be treated like on the lines of Bourne Identity.
The audiences will see dry land, snowfalls, lush green fields and buzzing traffic in every alternative frame.”
At present, both Yuvan and Venkat are busy in making three minute teaser trailer of Mangatha which will be telecast in between Karthi’s ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ film that is releasing on August 20th.
